Making it is a mentoring, training and work experience programme aimed at empowering young people to believe in themselves.

Who is it for?

Making it is for young offenders and those on the edge of the criminal justice system aged 14 to 18, referred to us by the county’s youth support/justice team.

What will you get?

For the young people attending making it, the project will:

  • Improve levels of confidence, self-esteem, resilience, and motivation and raise aspirations
  • Reduce incidence of anti-social behaviour and offending
  • Increase the number engaged in training, education or employment
  • Provide the opportunity of getting involved in our other regular creative projects - performing, organising events, work experience and volunteering
